This section not only showcases tattoos as “protective talismans” and “spiritual symbols”, but also delves deeper into their psychological motivations, emotional attachments, and subconscious cycles.
Through these works, the artist engages in dialogue with her own tattoos — and with her past, trauma, defense mechanisms, and self-identity. She affirms the strength and protection that tattoos bring, while also questioning whether she has become overly reliant on these “external marks” to cope with inner vulnerability.
